About the Artist
I’ve always loved art, whether it was putting together little craft kits gifted to me as a child or teaching myself how to draw. As I grew older, I developed a love for photography, which found a resurgence when I needed an outlet in my day job. Luckily, I was outside and in many different locations at the time, and I started taking photos of the little things. Some people say it’s too overdone to take pictures of flowers and nature, but if it gives you joy, you should do what you love.
Being in various locations for my work helped me appreciate the role patterns play in our homes. There’s something grounding and joyful in repetition and rhythm, in colors that dance or calm, in design that feels both intentional and alive. For me, patterns bring a quiet kind of harmony, and I hope they offer the same for you. I created each piece to add beauty, meaning, and comfort to your everyday world because that’s what they evoke in me. I hope they scratch that itch like it does with me; that seeing something beautiful in a moment of stress can ease some of it away for you. Whether it ends up on your wall, your bed, or in your hand, I want it to feel like something seen.Aside from that, I love animals, nature, and writing. You’ll often find me walking my dog, appreciating a mushroom growing in the grass, or daydreaming about the next plot point in the novel I swear I’ll write but never get around to.Thank you for letting my art be a small escape in your life.
